Welcome to our latest spotlight story from RE:IMAGINEATL, where we delve into Anandi. At 23 years old, Anandi Bien-Aimé is already building a career rooted in curiosity, compassion, and community. A University of Miami graduate (Class of 2024), she moves fluidly across disciplines—writing, creative producing, social media management, and impact media—bringing intention and care to every project she touches. As a self-described “jack of all trades,” Anandi is driven by a deep belief in the power of ethical storytelling and collective growth.
A Multidisciplinary Path to Storytelling
Anandi’s creative journey is anything but singular. From learning foreign languages to managing social platforms and producing films, she thrives at the intersections of creativity and strategy.
“Being a jack of all trades! Writing, creative film producing, social media management, impact media campaigns, or speaking foreign languages—I love learning and working diligently to bring projects to life!”
Her work reflects a commitment not just to creating content, but to crafting stories that matter—stories that honor people, process, and purpose.
Inspired by Humanity
When asked what fuels her creativity, Anandi points not to accolades or algorithms, but to people.
“Other humans! The tenacity of the human spirit, especially reflected through art—writing, poetry, and film.”
She believes storytelling is inherently communal. Our experiences, she says, are shaped by the wisdom, encouragement, and impact of others—and her work is a reflection of that interconnectedness.
Finding Community at RE:IMAGINE
As an EMERGE Social Media Apprentice (2024–2025), Anandi found more than professional development—she found belonging.
“RE:IMAGINE has provided me a space to learn and develop as a community-minded creative, especially when I needed it most.”
Through mentorship, workshops, and meaningful connections, RE:IMAGINE reinforced a powerful lesson: no one builds alone. The organization connected her with individuals and institutions genuinely invested in supporting emerging creatives and storytellers.

Breaking into Impact Media
Today, Anandi serves as an Impact Media and Project Research Intern at Common Pictures, the impact media arm of the Edward E. Haddock Jr. Family Operating Foundation. Her time as an EMERGE fellow sharpened her understanding of ethical, restorative storytelling and how to engage audiences with intention.
She credits RE:IMAGINE’s ecosystem of resources—events, job postings, mentorship, and learning opportunities—for helping her chart a clear and values-aligned path forward.
Words of Wisdom
Anandi’s advice centers on resilience, self-trust, and community care.
“Stay engaged and don’t give up… YOU are your best investment, but our chosen communities are what will keep us grounded, encourage us, and provide direct opportunities for us to positively invest in the world around us.”
She also encourages creatives to protect their autonomy:
“Spend more time investing in yourself and your peers creatively. You do not need to exhaust yourself seeking validation from external sources.”
Looking Ahead
In the future, Anandi hopes to work as a creative writer and producer at a studio or production company committed to uplifting diverse, underrepresented voices and stories. With her dedication to ethical storytelling, impact media, and community-driven work, she is well on her way.
