Open Studio
Each month, we host workshops open to ages 14-24 from 3:30pm – 6:30pm EST. Open Studio is an opportunity offering leadership development, networking with industry professionals, portfolio review in a mock-interview setting, and receive financial wellness resources in preparation for college or job placements.
Emerge Apprenticeships (ages 16 - 24)
Overview:
EMERGE is a one year workforce apprenticeship program offering technical training, job placement, and industry mentorship to the next generation of emerging creative storytellers. Our services provide youth who have traditionally faced barriers to ensure support for a healthy workforce pipeline.
Key Features
- 16-weeks (2 Tracks) of technical training with an industry Teaching Artist
- Access to Monthly Open Studio including portfolio building, resume review, reservations for the editing bay

Narrative Filmmaking Fellowship
(ages 16 - 24)

Overview:
The No Comment Fellowship is an two-month filmmaking fellowship for 16-24 year old emerging filmmakers. Led by seasoned filmmakers with a passion for teaching, participants dive deep into film theory, storytelling techniques and much more –pushing their creative boundaries and refining their craft.
At its core, the NOCO film fellowship is about confronting fear & resistance — the universal challenges every creator faces. Through mentorship, collaboration and hands-on experience, fellows learn to transform doubt into vision.
In a growth-focused environment built on camaraderie and healthy workplace culture, fellows collaborate to create an original short film, applying their newfound skills to bring their ideas to life. They leave with a finished project and the tools and mindset to shape the future of filmmaking. By planting these values within small groups of 15 to 20, No Comment seeks to inspire a better standard across the industry.
What to Expect:

Education Programs (in/after school programming)
Overview:
Education Programs partner with school districts to deliver hands-on workshops that expose students to the digital arts through immersive experiences. Students gain practical skills in camera operation, audio recording, sound design, acting, and lighting while exploring the full production pipeline. These experiences prepare students for real-world opportunities, build confidence, and align with National Core Arts Standards.

Embrace the Mess (in/after school programming)
Overview:
Through our socio-emotional storytelling curriculum, our learning exercises build trust, community, break down barriers between teachers and students. This is a week-long intensive, often offered as a summer camp option, or over the course of a semester where participants learn to re-imagine themselves as a character and understand their reality through a logline.
Mock Sets (in/after school programming)
Overview:
Local filmmakers and media creatives offer industry insights and hands-on lessons in an environment that mimics the intricate workflow of a day on set. Content created during these full or half-day workshops contributes to student portfolios, resumes, and morale. This workshop aligns with National Core Arts Standards.
Field Trips and Tours (in/after school programming)
Overview:
We partner with studios and facilities in Atlanta to facilitate full-day excursions for students to meet film and media professionals. Our field trip partners include: Black Hall, REMEDY, Third Rail Studios, Electric Owl Studio, Adult Swim, Trilith, PropSource, Trade School Studio, and more.
Professional Learning (educators)
Overview:
Full and half-day workshops designed for educators to enrich your curriculum and enhance your students’ active engagement with topics including podcast production, Adobe Premiere, animation basics, equipment training, studio buildouts, and curriculum development.
