Welcome to our latest spotlight story from RE:IMAGINEATL, where we delve into Jadyn. Jadyn Moye is a 22 year old creative storyteller with a passion for content creation. Drawn specifically to post-production, Jadyn Moye has already made waves through the RE:IMAGINE community. Beginning as an EMERGE apprentice, Jadyn has now earned a spot as the newest member on our team! As the Post-Production Teaching Artist Assistant, Jadyn’s grounded work ethic and fresh energy is definitely one to emulate.
The Democratization of Storytelling in the Digital Age
Jadyn’s journey began at humble beginnings, like most of us– with a classroom assignment. Filming a short film on her iPhone and editing in iMovie sparked her curiosity around how visuals, sound, and pacing can shape emotion, rhythm, and meaning within a story. Since then, she’s been committed to developing her skills through creative projects, hands-on training, and sharing what I’ve learned along the way.
“My work often lives at the intersection of creativity and strategy, whether I’m editing videos, creating digital content, or helping brands connect with audiences through thoughtful campaigns.”
Jadyn began posting her work on social media and documenting her editing journey by creating tutorials on YouTube to make post-production more accessible to others in the community! What a way to emerge!
Self-Motivated and Staying Curious
When asked what fuels this editor, she indicated that she looks within. Sharing that her journey has been primarily self-driven.
“From filming short-films on my iPhone to starting my own YouTube channel, and then growing through programs like RE:IMAGINE, I’ve learned by staying curious and willing to try.”
Jadyn’s unique openness to learn, take on new challenges, and stretch outside of her comfort zone is one of the most refreshing things about being an emerging artist. Jadyn has that! That combination of curiosity, storytelling, and community-centered perspective is what really shapes her voice as a creative.

Open Door Policy at RE:IMAGINE
Jadyn truly believes RE:IMAGINE has opened many doors for her. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and creative spaces where she could grow into the Atlanta creative community, Jadyn has been able to learn directly from experienced artists.
“This past February, I had the opportunity to support the teaching artists at the Dekalb Mock Set, which allowed me to see the production process from another perspective and contribute behind the scenes.”
As an EMERGE Post-Production Alum (2024–2025), Jadyn has emerged after a year with more than just hands on training— she’s found belonging. RE:IMAGINE’s collaborative community is just one aspect of what we cultivate, but we don’t do it alone. It’s people like Jadyn who keep our community thriving.
Making Way for the Next Generation
After completing their apprenticeship, Ms. Moye has stepped into a leadership role as RE:IMAGINE’s Post-Production Teaching Artist Assistant! Fully embodying the spirit of philanthropy at this young age, Jadyn shares,
“That experience has been especially meaningful because it’s given me the chance to give back to the same program that helped me grow while continuing to develop my own skills.”
As someone who tends to hesitate and overthink, she relates to wanting a clear plan before moving forward. Now, she is a part of that structure for incoming apprentices. Jadyn discusses that she never imagined one day being the person helping to create major motion pictures and telling dynamic stories, but now in her classes, she encourages younger artists to stop waiting until everything feels perfectly figured out!
Secrets From An Older Self
Jadyn’s advice encourages apprentices to embrace being uncomfortable.
“Growth starts the moment you step outside your comfort zone. Ask questions, try things even if you’re still figuring them out, and take chances on opportunities that might feel a little intimidating.”
Jadyn is the perfect example that being new to a creative industry shouldn’t hold you back. What truly matters is showing up and being open to learning!
What’s Next?
In 5 years, Jadyn sees herself combining her passion for content creation and video editing within a role in marketing!
“Either as a freelancer or working at an agency to create branded campaign content, I hope to work on projects that not only support brands but also tell meaningful stories from my community.”
