At 27 years old, Daisha Peeks is perfecting their community contributions in the industry to show their personalized approach to content strategy. As a social media and digital marketing certified creator, Daisha Peeks brings a combination of experience, observation, confidence, and strategy to marketing and community driven environments that showcase the portrayal of different forms of storytelling.
From Apprentice to Marketing Specialist
Daisha learns from watching, learning and growing with different individuals within a variety of demographics. She was able to build that team with RE:IMAGINE fellow apprentices.
“I perfected my content strategy, brand aligning, communication, and organizational skills thanks to my classes at RE:IMAGINE.”
Her work eventually led to an internship working with an entertainment-focused company called Artist Spotlight. In this role, Daisha honed skills such as pitch deck proposals, which she brought along to her current role as a Marketing Specialist.
Learning from Community at RE:IMAGINE
As a 2025 EMERGE Social Media Apprentice, Daisha was able to build experiences with fellows that grew her learning skills. In regards to her biggest takeaway she had this to say:
“My biggest takeaway was collaboration.”
Through mentorship, workshops, and meaningful connections, RE:IMAGINE reinforced a powerful lesson: no one builds alone. The organization connected her with individuals and institutions genuinely invested in supporting emerging creatives and storytellers.
Words of Wisdom
Daisha is surrounded by environments where she has to constantly grow and be forward thinking. From those experiences Daisha reflected on this :
“Don’t be afraid to fail. Trying new things and embracing the many opportunities around me is what led me to much success in my career.”
She also recognizes how, in each new step that she makes moving forward, each challenge will rely on this foundation.
Looking Ahead
In the future, Daisha hopes to work as a Social Media Manager at a studio or production company that is highly impactful in the TV/Film streaming industry. With her dedication to learning, community, and collaboration we know that an offer will present itself soon.
